I’ll be there for the first time this week. What can I expect?

What are your worship services like?

Our worship music is a relaxed blend of traditional and contemporary. We may sing a few hymns, a praise song you just heard on the radio, or learn something new!

We typically begin our services with a time of worship, open God's Word together and learn how to apply it through the sermon.  Services begin at 9AM and usually finish up around 10:15AM.

I have young children. Is there something for them?

We offer a nursery staffed with caring and screened volunteers that is available for young ones from newborn to age two.  You will find the nursery in the lower level.

Activity clipboards with crayons for young ones, and interactive sermon worksheets for older student are offered to help keep children engaged during the service.  We also have a "Wiggle Room" located just off of the Sanctuary allowing you to step out with your child if needed but still see and hear what's going on the in service.

Where are you located?

TLEFC is located at 1614 Hwy 32 in Three Lakes. Our rustic building is tucked into the woods on the corner of Hwy 32 and Hwy X.

What do I do when I first get there? Where should I park?

If you enter on Hwy X, you can park in the front of the church building and come in through the main entrance.

If you drive in on Hwy 32, you can park in the larger parking lot and enter the building through the lower level.  Cross the Fellowship Hall and take the stairs up to find the Foyer and Sanctuary.

Friendly people are waiting to greet you at both entrances and are eager to meet you and help you find your way.

Am I expected to give when I am visiting?

Please do not feel obligated to give when the offering basket is passed. Instead, would you fill out a Connection Card and drop it in to help us get to know each other better?

What else happens on Sunday mornings?

Immediately following the service you are welcome to stick around and visit for a while. We serve a fantastic cup of coffee in the Fellowship Hall downstairs and everyone's friendly. Really, it's OK.

During the school year we have Sunday School Hour for all ages starting around 10:30.  Babies can stay in the nursery, then there's classes for all kids and youth downstairs. Adults head back upstairs to the library for Cross Training - an opportunity to discuss that day's sermon, dig a little deeper and get to know each other better. Please stay and take advantage of this time!

What should I wear?

At TLEFC you will see many varying styles of dress. Being located in a resort town some people will wear jeans, polo shirts, khakis or shorts. Others prefer to dress more traditionally, in dresses or a shirt and tie.  Come however you feel comfortable, but come.

What if I still have questions?

Please feel free to contact the office with any questions you may have. We are always happy to help. If you'd rather call - the office number is 715.546.2000.
